The ArcReader training program was developed by the County GIS Department to provide local government units a means of viewing the County's digital geographic data. The data is provided under an intergovernmental data sharing agreement. Using ArcReader (a GIS map viewer), local unit officials can view aerial photos, land use planning layers, zoning, soils conditions, topography, watershed basins, and waterways throughout Charlevoix County.
