Introduced nearly 40 years ago, The Hunting Access Program is a
flexible incentive program for landowners that is supported by the
Department of Natural Resources and managed by local Conservation
Districts.

If you are a landowner in Charlevoix county, with at least 40 acres, and
interested in receiving incentives to allow public access to your land,
or a hunter looking for nearby land to hunt, please contact the Charlevoix
Conservation District office to inquire about possible options.  All hunters
are responsible to know and understand the rules of the program, as well
as rules of each property and state and federal regulations.
