Township Officials Norwood Township was recognized by Northwest Michigan Council of Governments of their Community Partner Award for the use of their services in providing workers through Michigan Prisoner Re-Entry Initiative. These workers contributed greatly to the upgrading of our Township Park last year, as well as at the Township Hall & at the Cemetery. The award was presented to Supervisor Frank Hamilton at a luncheon given by NWMCG in Traverse City on Friday, April 15, 2011.
