| Where Do I Pay My Property Tax Bill? |

Your property tax bill should be paid to the Treasurer of the township, city or village in which the property is located, which is indicated on your bill. To find your local Treasurer, click on the appropriate link under Twp. City & State Government at the top of this page.
Summer tax bills are mailed in July and winter tax bills are mailed in December. After March 1st, unpaid tax bills from the previous July and/or December become delinquent and must be paid to the County Treasurer. In Person:- At the township or city clerk's office where your residence is located (may not be the same as your mailing address).
- At the Charlevoix County Clerk's office located at 203 Antrim St., Charlevoix, MI 49720 - Monday thru Friday between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM [Phone (231)547-7200].
- At any Secretary of State Branch office located in the State of Michigan.
- At the specified agency for clients receiving services through the Family Independence Agency, the Department of Community Health, the Michigan Jobs Commission and some offices of the Commission for the Blind.
- At the military recruitment offices for persons enlisting in the armed forces.
NOTE: Electors who wish to register with the county or city/township clerk are advised to call ahead for the location.
By Mail:- Obtain and complete a Mail Voter Registration Application and forward it to the election official as directed on the application by the close of the registration deadline. Mail voter registration applications may be obtained by contacting any of the township or city clerks.
NOTE: A person who registers to vote by mail is required to vote in person unless they have previously voted in person in the township/city where they live or are at least 60 years of age or are handicapped.
