In an effort to ensure all residences can be located in an emergency the Fire Department is selling house numbering signs. To purchase your sign click on the document below. After completing the form print and mail it to the address shown or deliver it to any Fireman.

Northern Michigan residents who wish to burn yard debris can request a free burn permit from the DNR either on line by clicking here or calling toll free (866) 922-2876. Additional information is also available on the DNR website.
This free burn permit is required any time a property owner burns yard debris, such as leaves, tree limbs, brush or grass. Items you are not allowed to burn include automobile parts, domolition debris and construction debris.
