Drivers answer calls during posted business hours, all calls received during non-posted hours will be retrieved from voice mail at the start of each shift.
Upcoming Special Events
We provide FREE rides to all polling locations for all local, State and Federal elections. Call to schedule 582-6900.
New fares, which have slight increases and saw the removal of the 15 mile double fare, will become effective October 1, 2015 and will be changed to the following:
Children 2 & Under - Free with paid adult passenger
Youth ages 3-18 -- $1.50**
Adults ages 19-59-- $2.00
Senior Citizen (60 & over) are currently free in conjunction with our Commission on Aging "Seniors Ride Free" program ***some restrictions may apply***
Disabled Persons Fare -- $1.00
**Student Fares - $1.00 To/From school & preschool only
Out-of-County Fares - $5.00 one-way (Otsego/Emmet/Antrim area for medical or other trips that meet eligibility criteria) and $10.00 each way for Traverse City medical trips
Discount Bus Passes are also available by purchasing in advance, and may be purchased in the following ways:

Since 1980, Charlevoix County Transit has been providing public transportation throughout the county including Beaver Island. The transit system operates 21 ADA accessible buses and provides over 110,000 rides annually.
Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 prohibits discrimination on the basis of race, color, or national origin in programs and activities receiving Federal financial assistance.
