Charlevoix Conservation District Volunteer Opportunities
The Charlevoix Conservation District has a staff of only two, so we
greatly appreciate all of our volunteers! Whether it's painting a sign,
assisting with a newsletter mailing, or helping at an event, volunteers
are always welcome!
The district currently works closely with several volunteer individuals
and groups for many of our programs. Consider volunteering if any
of the following opportunities fit your interests. Contact us to let us
know! Call 231-582-6193, or email alison.adams@macd.org

Newsletter Mailings
R.S.V.P volunteers work with us on a quarterly basis to assist us with
our regular mailings. Over 1,000 newsletters need to be folded,
labeled and taped before sending to our members.

Beachgrass Harvest Days
NCMC biology student volunteers and Charlevoix Elementary School
students currently assist our annual beachgrass harvest days.
These days involve rigorous physical energy, so any extra help is
appreciated to keep up with our orders!
Thank You District Volunteers!

In appreciation for all their hard work and dedication,
we like to thank our volunteers with a nice meal!
Often these meals are donated by local eateries.
