Situated near the eastern border of Charlevoix County, Thumb Lake Park is a beautiful little gem of a day use park located on Magee Road, just north of Thumb Lake Road, east of the Village of Boyne Falls. The park has ample parking in close proximity to the wonderful 1600 feet of sandy beach and clear water. Thumb Lake is the deepest lake in Charlevoix County and has its own watershed. Dogs are allowed on a portion of the beach. A pavilion, picnic tables and grills are provided for your convenience and are near the water, parking and sidewalks. Portable restrooms are also available.
A public boat launch is located on Thumb Lake Rd. at the southwest corner of Thumb Lake.
