What We Do:  The Charlevoix County Veterans Affairs office performs administrative work in advising veterans and their dependents of benefits available under federal, state, and local laws. The office assists in completing and submitting required forms, obtaining necessary legal documents, medical reports and other data in support of claim to ensure that veterans, their dependents, and their survivors receive all the benefits to which they are entitled.  *Important note: We are not employees of the Department of Veterans Affairs, we are county employees that advocate on behalf of veterans with the Department of Veterans Affairs.

On behalf of the Charlevoix County Board of Commissioners and the Charlevoix County Veterans Affairs Committee, we thank All Service Members and Veterans for their service and sacrifice to this nation, and also recognize the sacrifices of their families.

Here to serve you!
